Greg is a PhD student in the Machine Learning Group supervised by José Miguel Hernández Lobato, starting in October 2020. The primary focus of his work is developing coding algorithms for data compression with generative models. Broader interests include generative and probabilistic modelling and Bayesian optimization. Greg holds an MPhil in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence from the University of Cambridge and a Joint BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of St Andrews.
